It happens. You spill coffee over your suit right before an important pitch, you have to attend a last-minute client meeting or the airline lost your luggage. Sometimes, when you are in a crunch, all you have time for is one store. That’s why every Monday we will show you how to pull together an office-appropriate look on a budget from the one store you come across…
Under normal circumstances, I probably wouldn’t wear an all-Target outfit to the office because I generally prefer to mix more classic items with inexpensive accessories. But this set goes to show that even when you are in a pinch, you can pull together something presentable from a budget store.
Cropped pants that fit are much easier to find than full length trousers, especially when you are tall and in a hurry. Since the material clearly isn’t the most expensive, you might as well go for a color pop in a rich jewel tone. For the rest of the outfit, I’d stick to items as classic as possible – navy pumps, navy blazer, silver studs and a structured bag.

Love the outfit, though the shirt seems a bit low cut.
