Dear BRBs,
I was invited to a summer pool party with co-workers – what do I wear?
- Preparin’ to Party
Dear PP,
Hmmmmm…you need to be dressed appropriately for a party but you need to be ready to hop in a pool…. What’s my advice?
1. Make sure your in a conservative one-piece – I don’t care how many hours of barre class or cross-fit you do a week, no one you work with needs to see your midriff.
2. Wear a cover-up that doubles as a dress – this way you’re prepared if the pool party your attending is more about the party and less about the pool.
3. Wear waterproof makeup and do your hair in an easy updo – Do you like raccoon eyes? OK good, neither do I. Don’t forget, once you jump into the pool that hairstyle you spent hours on … gone. I always throw my hair up in an easy braid (like this one from berlinhairbaby) after I hop out of the pool.
Remember your towel and have fun! It’s a party after all!
