For a bit of fun towards the end of the work week, we’ll show you how to twist a trendy outfit into a totally appropriate office stunner.
When I came across this picture of Nicole Kidman, I had a “duhhh” moment. For some reason, this outfit struck me out of the multitude of trendy business outfit pics I had conjured up on Google and Pinterest. Sometimes, when you’re trying to come up with a new outfit every day, the comfort of old classics is rather heartwarming.
Make sure this simple outfit of neutrals is current by picking high quality basics in mint condition and excellent tailoring. I also think the cigarette pant (rather than a classic boot cut shape or a full pant) adds a nice touch. And if this outfit is just simply to plain for you, add an interesting accent by wearing an acccessory in this spring/summer’s it color coral or citron.
Theory is an excellent suit maker and their outlet store typically carries the same stuff as the regular store (unlike other well known and loved brands such as J.Crew or Ann Taylor Loft) at an average discount of 40% (personal observance, not a scientifically tested statistic). Also, I adore these “of the moment” gold plated block heel flats in neon from J.Crew!
Chaps Sweater at Kohls $38 / H&M blouse, $13 / Theory jacket $395 / Theory pants $ 245 / J.Crew kitten heels $ 178/ Kate Spade bag $ 398 / Forever 21 bangle $7 / Forever 21 bangle $7

Wow, that is classic. Loving the reminder to wear bright accessories with it, especially at this time of year when is bleak and grey for a long time where i live and get dressed!
