Dear BRBs,

I was just offered a new job. And as part of the training, I have to fly to a different city for a week or maybe two (one week at a time though).

During the interview, I noticed that the style there seemed to be business casual. I found that a lot in Canada.

My question is this: What do I pack for a week? I would love to only take a carry-on bag if possible…

My professional wardrobe contains a lot of pencil skirts, shift dresses and neutral dressed pants. I also have a lot of cardigans, light sweaters and blouses. It’s still cold here as well so I need to take that into account.

Dear Traveling,

Congrats on the new job!!! You can defiantly pack for a week in a suitcase (Extra Petite packs in a tote bag! ), the key is to streamline your looks, pack in a color scheme (I like black/white/colbolt, navy/cream/coral, or camel/cream/black), and be willing to re-wear basics.  I also like to make sure that I pack a “dressy” and a “casual” outfit, you never know if you will have to attend a last minute meeting with clients or if you will have time to yourself to tour the city your visiting or have drinks with coworkers.  Road Warriorette is a great resource for travel advice and tips for business travelers.   Check back tomorrow for a special 9-to-5 dedicated to packing for a business trip.

Readers any packing tips?
