It happens. You spill coffee over your suit right before an important pitch, you have to attend a last-minute client meeting or the airline lost your luggage. Sometimes, when you are in a crunch, all you have time for is one store. That’s why every Monday we will show you how to pull together an office-appropriate look on a budget from the one store you come across…
When you are heading into a low-cost brand whose target group are teenagers, many find themselves befuddled how any working woman can find appropriate office clothes in the same stores. So here is our how-to-guide:
1) The most difficult part is to find leg wear that appropriately covers your thights, so start there. Pants are more difficult to fit than skirts or dresses, so I would look for a pencil skirt or fitted dress with an appropriate length first.
2.) Once you got the bottom, look for a top in a neutral color with lots of coverage. Usually that’s not a problem and if it is, look for two tops – so you can cover all the important bits with the combination.
3.) Shoes – actually, you might be surprised but Forever generally has a few nice options. Due to the low price point it is obvious that the materials won’t be high quality and the design process is also cost optimized. Therefore, stick to flats with enough coverage to hold your foot, but also with a bit of wiggle room to make up for any discomfort.
