In these posts we’ll show you how to create a whole week’s worth of stylish work outfits using only nine items. We’ll help you make the most out of your wardrobe by mixing classic basics in a medium price range with low budget on-trend items.
The easiest and most classic solution to a case of the “Idon’tknowwhattowearandI’msotired”s is a classic LBD. While this girl is a fan of covering her arms and thus owns an army of sleeved dresses a simple sleeveless shift is the most versatile option. It’s also easier to find one in a good fit. Personally, I think one has to be careful about combining black and colors. The contrast can often be a bit stark, so for this week I’ve chosen soft pastels and vibrant hues to break up the black. In addition, combining two or more complimenting colors per outfit softens the look further. And if you’ve never layered under a black dress – hopefully the Friday outfit can inspire you to start. Just make sure you choose a nice sturdy fabric for your LBD and thin, soft materials for the layers underneath.
